Hey, welcome to my channel, where I share my 3D printing projects with you. In this video, I’m going to show you how I solved my desk space problem with 3D printing. I have a small apartment and a lot of stuff on my desk, so I needed a way to create more space and organize my things better. That’s when I had an idea: why not use some IKEA shelves that I was going to throw away and turn them into a custom desk with 3D printing? I’ll show you how I designed a desk mount that can hold two IKEA shelves and give me about 12 inches (or 30 cm) of clearance above my desk. That means I can put my monitors on the shelves and have more room on my desk. Plus, I’ll also show you how I plan to add some cool accessories to the desk mount, like drawers, a mic holder, a pen holder, and more. This is part 1 of a 10-part series where I’ll take you through the whole process of 3D printing this project.
