Coming for surgery
We have created this film so patients can see what happens when they are referred for surgery at Homerton. Made for patients who are going to need to stay in hospital for a few days after their operation we want to help you be as prepared as possible so you know what to expect at each stage; from the referral to your GP, through your initial appointments, on the day of surgery, and then on the ward afterwards. During your appointments, you will meet a lot of people and hear a lot of information. Hopefully this film will back up any key information you have been given, for example when you stop eating and drinking, what you need to bring with you, and will answer any other questions you have. Please contact us if you want any further information.
