When I went back to the States recently, the culture shock hit me instantly.
I felt like I had to say “thank you” after every sentence just to avoid coming off rude.
People were polite one moment — and acting crazy the next.

LA was nicer than I expected, definitely better energy than the East Coast.
But when I came back to Thailand?
Instant calm.

Thailand is relaxed, respectful, and easygoing.
Even though some Chinese travelers get scared by rumors like “kidnappings” or danger, the truth is simple:
If you don’t get drunk and you don’t look for shady situations, Thailand is one of the safest and most respectful countries you’ll ever visit.

Living abroad just feels better — the people, the energy, the lifestyle.
And honestly, none of this would’ve happened if I didn’t start with teaching English abroad.

Teaching English is the fastest path to moving overseas and experiencing this lifestyle for yourself.
