Although a seller on Flipkart was allowed to add a video in their listing earlier but in limited categories. And Flipkart used to ask for the YouTube video link for the same.

This new feature, called LISTING VIDEOS, is now available to all sellers across categories under the ADD NEW LISTINGS TAB on the seller dashboard.

How to add a video to your listings on Flipkart?

1. Go to the " Add New Listings " tab

2. Click on listing videos, then "add video".

3. Put the FSN you want to add video to.

4. Read video guidelines.

5. Upload the video.

NOTE*

Max 2 videos allowed per product
Allowed Format: MP4
Max file size: 100 MB per video
Minimum resolution: 720 × 960 px
Allowed Video Length/Duration: 5 sec – 2 min

What are the video guidelines for Flipkart listings?

1. Product details shown in the video must match the listing images and attributes.

2. Video should be high quality with the product clearly visible.

3. Audio should be only in English or Hindi.

4. Recommended video aspect ratio is 3:4 for full visibility on the Flipkart customer platform.

5. Video should not contain excessive background noise.

6. Do not use movie audio or copyrighted music.

7. Do not include social media handles, tags, or influencer promotions.

8. Do not include competitor or other website names, logos, QR codes, or promotional mentions.

9. Video should not contain watermarks or copyright text.

10. Do not mention prices, offers, or discounts in the video.
Great feature introduced by Flipkart for the sellers, this will help.

Customer to understand the product better.
Ultimately, adding video to listings will get you a good conversion rate.
Also, this will increase sales and minimise returns.
