In a bizarre real life crime thriller, the Crime Branch of Gujarat Police has arrested Hemant Modi, a fugitive murder convict who successfully evaded authorities for 12 years by reinventing himself as a Bollywood supporting actor named 'Spandan Modi.' Sentenced to life imprisonment for a 2005 murder and rioting case under severe charges. As per reports, in the year 2005, Hemant Modi (Spandan Modi) was involved in a murder case in Naroda. In this case, he was sentenced to life imprisonment. During his jail time, he thought his life would end in prison, and due to that mental pressure, he gave divorce to his wife. But in the year 2014, he got out of jail on parole. However, instead of returning to jail, he jumped parole and vanished as if no one had ever seen him.
