What is Meningitis? Well, Bacterial Meningitis is a True Medical Emergency that requires an urgent Lumbar Puncture for the diagnosis. This real life clinical case is about a young female patient in her thirties who presented with symptoms of Fever, headache, & Confusion. Streptococcus Pneumoniae was our first differential diagnosis, but later she was found to have Meningococcal Meningitis (Neisseria Meningitidis).
