In this video, I’ll show you a simple workaround for the Sketch Picture Scale Tool bug in SolidWorks 2024 and 2025.
Currently, the "Set Scale" tool is unstable and unreliable — but you can still scale your sketch pictures accurately!
The method involves creating a new sketch with a reference line set to the correct dimension, and then manually adjusting the Sketch Picture's width and height using the parameter window. You can also pan the image around to line it up perfectly.
Hopefully SolidWorks will fix this soon, as the tool worked flawlessly in older versions. Until then, this workaround will keep your projects moving forward.
