10. Heroes National Stadium - Zambia
Heroes National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Lusaka, Lusaka Province, Zambia. The name of the stadium refers to the 1993 Zambia national football team air disaster which took the lives of most of its national football team. The 40,000 seats capacity stadium was constructed by Shanghai Construction Group, and is a beautiful and sensational stadium which is located in the Angondjé district. This main stadium hosted the 2012 and 2017 African Cup of Nations. The first-time players touched the pitch was on November 10, 2011, during a match between Gabon and Brazil. The stadium of the Sino-Gabonese friendship is 320 meters in length making it a 36,000 m2 metallic structure.

Stade Municipal de Kintélé in Brazzaville is the national stadium of the Republic of the Congo. It is used for football matches and also has an athletics track. It was designed and planned by the German architects Gerkan, Marg, and Associates and constructed on $270 million budget. When talking about this arenas’ name, it was not directly given in honor of Nelson Mandela but Port Elizabeth that was renamed Nelson Mandela Bay. The latter was named Nelson Mandela Bay in tribute to this legendary personality. The stadium capacity is almost 50,000 seats. The Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is a famous tourist attraction as it was built in Port Elizabeth located two kilometers from the coast of the Indian Ocean.
