This travel day began in Cooma, New South Wales. We first visited the Time Walk to see all the mosaics and flags of the countries from which we had workers contribute to the Snowy Hydro scheme.

We then made our way to the Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre where we watched a few films on the project and learnt how they make electricity from water. There is also a great free museum in there to look around.

On our way up to our campsite for the night we stopped at Adaminaby to see the Giant Trout (the world's largest fibreglass rainbow trout). We also did a quick detour to check out Lake Eucumbene and Providence Portal (water flowing out of one of the Snowy Hydro tunnels through the mountains).

Our campsite for the night was at Rocky Plain Campground in Kosciuszko National Park. We were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves and set up the Oztent RV-5 and the awnings on the ute as it started to rain. We cooked dinner on the Weber (and brekky) and enjoyed a cosy night listening to the rain.
