Ratha Khala is not only the place where the grand chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra are built, but it is also where important preparations for the sacred Anasara period take place.

At Taladhwaja Ratha Khala, Vishwakarma Maharanas are constructing the Anasara Gayala, a vital wooden structure used during the Anasara rituals. Three 17-foot-long Gayalas have been crafted from Dhaura wood. Along with these, support beams and pillars are also being prepared.

On Snana Purnima, scheduled for June 29, these wooden components will be transported from Ratha Khala to the Anasara Tati Griha. After fixing the three Gayalas between two pillars, supporting structures will be attached, followed by the installation of pillars and bamboo screens to complete the Anasara House.
