Facing Pages:
A document with pairs of left and right pages that form spreads.

Not Facing Pages:
A document with stand-alone single pages.

Document Setup:
Located within the File menu, this dialog box allows for the changing of document level options for existing files and includes Facing Pages.

Properties Panel:
With nothing selected within a document, the Properties panel displays document related options. The Facing Pages option is located within the Document section of this panel.

New Document:
The new document dialog box includes a Facing Pages option.
