"U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert sparked her latest social media controversy Thursday when she criticized a school-shooting survivor turned gun control activist.

The freshman Republican from Silt, known for attention-grabbing social media posts, was accused on Twitter of being a threat to the security of the U.S. Capitol by David Hogg, who survived the 2018 Parkland, Florida, school shooting in which 17 people died.

“David, please,” Boebert responded in a quote tweet. “We all saw how tough you were when questioned face to face. Give your keyboard a rest, child.”"
