Wolfenstein 3D hacked to work on 8086/8088 CPU

something i did last night. took the original wolf3d source code (Which is public domain now) and modified it so that it doesn't require a 286 processor anymore. you can see the results here. it's a bit slow, but that should have been expected.

thats ONLY the executable. you must provide all the data files yourself. the game engine is in the public domain, however the data files are not and would be illegal for me to provide them to you. don't ask. your message will be deleted without reply. just throw this file in the same directory as the original WOLF3D.EXE and run it to play.
