How to Skip Microsoft Sign In | Windows 11 Setup Without Microsoft Account, Latest 08/2025

During installation, when you reach the “Let’s connect you to a network” screen:

If on Wi-Fi → Don’t connect.

If on Ethernet → Unplug the cable.

The installer will complain that you need internet. Press Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt in my case it was fn+Shift+f10

Type:

OOBE\BYPASSNRO
and press Enter.
→ Your PC will restart and give you the option to continue without internet.

Now you’ll see the option “I don’t have internet” → then “Continue with limited setup”.

Create a local account (username + password), and continue installation.
