‘101 Dalmatians’ turns 60! All three women we know as Cruella de Vil have spoken with ET about portraying the iconic movie villain that began with Disney’s cartoon classic. Betty Lou Gerson revealed she was surprised audiences were frightened by Cruella in the 1961 film, and she recited her favorite line from the movie for us! Glenn Close called Gerson’s performance ‘flawless,’ and revealed that her wig in the 1996 live-action adaptation was inspired by the cartoon’s ‘punk hairdo.’ Emma Stone said she believes Close is ‘the GOAT,’ and teased her upcoming prequel, ‘Cruella,’ where she says we’ll see the character on a path that ‘leads her to where she becomes true greatness.’ Okay, are the ‘Cruella de Vil’ song lyrics stuck in your head yet?
