The Beast Wars Tie-In Game Pointed Out A PLOT HOLE #transformers #beastwars

Transformers Beast Wars’ second season has one of the oddest endings of any show ever, with Megatron destroying the Optimus Prime from G1 Transformers, creating a time paradox that wipes the Maximals out of existence.
Weirdly, if you play the Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals game on N64 as Megatron, his ending points out how dumb this idea is, as without Optimus Prime, there is no Matrix, and without the Matrix there is no way to defeat Unicron, meaning that all Megatron has done is sealed his own future doom.
This is the problem with time travel, it can often end up with you making things worse for yourself.
