A new patient was brought in by his wife. She usually takes care of his toenails, but his cerebral palsy has gotten to the point where she can no longer do so safely. His spasticity and hyper-reflexes make it extremely difficult to trim his nails without causing injury. She found me through Facebook and promptly made an appointment. As he sat in his motorized wheelchair I trimmed and filed the toenails. Samples were collected for lab analysis to determine the correct course of treatment. He was very pleased with the service.
