Advanced Technology Centers (ATCs) and TomCom are playing a pivotal role in employment generation across the state. While ATCs focus on imparting industrial skills to young people, TomCom handles everything from documentation and visa processing to job placement for those seeking opportunities abroad. The initiative proactively identifies in-demand skills in countries like Germany, Japan, and Taiwan, trains candidates accordingly, and prepares them for employment in those markets. Labor and Employment Minister Gaddam Vivek shared details on how many individuals have gone abroad through TomCom so far and what kinds of vocational skills are being offered at the ATCs.
