HTC REEL Kid: Trevor - Myrtle Beach Elementary

Trevor, a fifth grader at Myrtle Beach Elementary, has made huge strides since joining the school in third grade. When he started at Myrtle Beach Elementary, he was in foster care and was always incredibly angry at school. In third grade, he received more than thirty referrals, in fourth grade only one and none this year.

With lots of work from Trevor, his teachers, school staff and adoptive mom and his church, Trevor is doing so much better. This reflects that Trevor has clearly made huge strides and is also proving to be quite the leader at school. He is in the gifted and talented program and often helps struggling students with their issues. Trevor has also joined the school’s Student Council.
