In January of 2023, I retired from professional soccer. D1 at Northern Illinois University, briefly pro after that. And when that chapter closed, I had no job, no real plan, and honestly not much money.

Over the next several months I tried everything I could think of to make something work online. Social media marketing agency, copywriting, dropshipping, e-commerce, gym influencer, clothing brand, supplement company.

Every single one of them failed.

Then in July of 2023 I took my girlfriend to Europe for a month. I had already bought a ring. I proposed on that trip, she said yes, and I burned through basically the last of what I had doing it.

We came home in August. She went back to work every day as a civil engineer on construction sites in the summer heat. And I was at home driving DoorDash, studying for a life insurance license, and looking at going back to school online, doing literally anything I could think of just to keep moving.

And right before I committed to going back to school and giving up on the whole thing, I found a model I had never seen before. And I asked my fiancée to bet basically everything she had left on one more attempt.

She said yes.

That business went from zero to over $10,000 a month in two months. Over $20,000 in four. Over $40,000 in six. Year one, over $300,000 in revenue. And I eventually sold it for $300,000.

I have now built four of these businesses personally and helped start over 100 more alongside partners all across the US and Canada.

This is the full story. I have never told the whole thing start to finish, and I am telling it today because I want you to understand exactly where I started and why I genuinely believe anyone watching this can do what I did, if not more.
