The difference in fare part is KEY. This is because you can now change your flight to be a few days before or after your original date, you can change the routing (ie: go from a connecting flight to a direct flight, etc), and more. ^^This is referred to as a “TRAVEL ALERT”

•The sooner adjust your plans = the better

•Better chances of minimizing storm impacts

2️⃣Alternate Contacts
•Try chat features
•AA - via chat or Twitter
•Delta - iMessage or Text
•Alaska - online chat
•Each airline has different contact methods

🤑BONUS - try the international numbers, then ask for your preferred language

3️⃣Have a Plan
•Research the flights you want
•Try to fly direct if possible
•Avoid airports that are being impacted by the storm

☝️Of course, you’ll want to make sure you use a credit card that has trip protection
