The Crock Ridge, the Clay Pits, Brick Kiln Copse—Dark Age Ceramic Landscape, West of Swindon, Pt 1

This is a further video in the Purton / Lydiard / Wootton Bassett area to west of Swindon, looking at the landscape with a view to its ancient history, its wildlife, wildflowers and in this particular video, foxes. But this particular episode the theme is ceramics: I take you to the Anglo-Saxon landmark of Crockery Ridge (“Crokrigge”), Brick Kiln Copse and Clay Pits in the parish of Lydiard Millicent.
