Dollar Crash, Choosing a Bank and Credit Unions: One Minute Answers from One Minute Economics, Ep.2

On the second episode of One Minute Answers from One Minute Economics, I've answered three questions related to money and banking.

Mark asked what kind of an effect the crash of the US Dollar would have on New Zealand. In other words, he'd like to know what would happen to NZ if the United States Dollar were to collapse.

Pavel asked how one should go about choosing a day to day bank. Let's face it, picking a bank is a pretty important decision, especially if we're talking about choosing a bank in which you deposit significant amounts of money.

Finally, Mark asked what I'd recommend for the average individual: choosing a large national bank chain or working with a credit union. As tempting as it may be to go with the friendlier feel of a credit union, it should be noted that choosing a big bank is the better option for a lot of individuals.
