So I'm going to talk about a hairdresser's salon that I occasionally use. It's in the city of Cambridge which I often go to for doing some courses and I recently came across it in the last few months. I used to go to a different barber shop in the town but while I was walking around Cambridge recently, a couple of months ago, I came across this hairdresser's salon. It does styling for both men's and women's hair. I don't know all of the services that it offers I know it does trims for men but I also think it does perms and beard trimming and also you can get your hair coloured so if you're going grey you can get your hair colored by them there. It's got a very modern design, I think that's why I was particularly attracted to it when I looked inside while I was walking past. I saw all these reds and blacks which I think are a nice colour combination. It has huge mirrors in there. That's one thing I don't like about it actually. If the mirrors were a bit smaller I think I might feel more comfortable about the place but it's okay. There are lots of images of New York City on the walls because it's a New York style, New York themed salon so it's got lots of pictures of the skyline of New York on the walls. It's in the centre of Cambridge, very close to the River Cam but although it's close to the river you can't actually see the river from the salon but it is very close to my favourite coffee shop in Cambridge so after I've had my hair trimmed I can go there and have a nice relaxing coffee. I use it of course to get my hair cut. When my hair gets a little bit long it starts to take on a life all of its own. It starts to stick out all over the place and so I need to get it back under control.
