Want to read the speech I gave? Here.

"I've been making music for 16 years of my life, and listening to it since I was a baby. All throughout my childhood, I found joy through developing my own musical talents. My amazing and loving family always lifted me up and encouraged me to keep on going and growing. I never stopped working hard and getting better.

I started posting content onto YouTube at a young age. It wasn't really amazing stuff that I was doing, but I personally believed it was my best work. I was proud of myself, and as such, I continued to improve my content as I grew up.

By 14, I created a cover channel, where all I ever did was simple vocal covers of popular songs, mostly acoustic. I enjoyed doing it, and that was all that mattered. By 16, I was introduced to the advanced music software that I use today, and a whole new world of untapped creativity. It was beautiful.
That was when I decided to start a channel made solely for instrumental remixes of soundtracks from video games or television shows. I truly began to put together some of my coolest mixes during that time. The channel grew faster than my cover channel ever had.

That channel was CG5.

But I wasn't singing yet. I was only producing. But I remember thinking, "What if I sang and wrote an original song and posted it to CG5? Would people like it and watch it? Would it do worse than my instrumental works?"

But I did it. And that was when everything changed.

At around 5,000 subscribers, I posted Can I Get An Amen, my first BATIM song that I had simultaneously sang and produced and put on CG5, in May of 2017. I was not expecting an incredible impact. I just did it because my friends told me I should do it, and so I listened, did my research, and made the song. 3 days after the song came out, I woke up to a massive influx of views and likes. It was so random and baffling and unbelievable, and I had to figure out where it came from. So I looked at the new comments on the video, and that's when I saw, all over the comment section, "You stole from dagames."

I searched up DAGames, for I had never heard that name before. And I found a song trailer that had come out that day for what is now "Gospel of Dismay." But instead, the codename for the song was "Can I Get An Amen," which just happened to be the name of my song!

I was incredibly lucky, but luck had nothing to do with what came after.

I began to work harder than I ever had before on new content that I believed my newfound audience would enjoy. So I started doing so, I did my research, played some games, worke with friends; and I released some of the biggest songs on my channel to date.

And the rest was history. More FNAF, more Bendy, memes, cartoons... all the music you wanted, and that I absolutely loved making.

First came 100K, and then 250K, then 500K. And today, 1 million subscribers. I always dreamed of being successful in doing what I loved. And now I am able to, because of your incredible support.

I strive to find peace and happiness every single day of my life. Sometimes I have hard days that I can hardly get back up from. But I know I have to, because what else am I gonna do, mope about it and make myself feel worse? I could never do that to myself. And I could never do that to you. I could never bring myself to a point where I would have to stop creating due to a complicated mental and emotional state. By then I would never be able to achieve that peace and happiness I strive for. But even if the hard days come along, I know I will always have my music to hold on to.

I thank my Heavenly Father, his Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, for being by my side every step of the way. Without music, but especially without the Spirit of God, I wouldn't be the person that I am today.

And I just want to say, with all the love I can bear within my heart... Thank you for one million subscribers. And I will see you again soon."
