B&P Peter Schumann Directs Happiness Obligation! 01/07-08/2023

Documentation of rehearsal process and performance of January 7 and 8, 2023:
Peter Schumann and the newly formed Bread Not Bombs Eaters/Parking Lot Newscasters troupe collaborate in the creation of the Happiness Obligation Cantastoria. Peter's exhuberantly subversive directorial style is revealed!
Full disclosure: this is an edited version of rehearsals and initial performance of this new piece derived from a recent chapbook by Schumann!
This documentary is divided into three parts 1- The first collabortive rehearsal; 2 - The Touch up rehearsal; and 3 - the Premiere Performance of Happiness Obligation in the parking lot of the Buffalo Mt Co-op in Hardwick, VT. , where un-masked longtime Garbage Man Alexis Smith makes a first stage appearance following 6 months of healing from a broken leg sustained in the penultimate performance of the Apocalypse Defiance Circus and Pageant of Summer 2022!
