** I referenced XT60 cables throughout this video, but in fact I used XT90 connections. I had to use XT90 because I could not find a panel mount style XT60 connection. Both work, XT90 just allows for more amps, of which I will never use or get close to the max rated amperage)

This DIY portable power station really is the best option I have found after years of using standard "store bought" power stations, because I have found that I very seldom ever use or need the AC side of the power station. Building it this way is not only cheaper, it is more efficient and most of the times a lot lighter than a regular power station.
