This is just a simple drill focusing on the X and Z-strikes in a back-and-forth manner. This drill gives the freedom to choose your chronological order, and you can play with it, but it must be done in a set of 2 to achieve this back-and-forth combination.

You can see that striking with a top-heavy weight tool is different from the lighter sticks. Notice how the upward strikes are performed. These are not done in the classical stickfighting way, like you see in FMA, but more like using a golf club or an axe.
