Epson L485 Review - best ink tank printer you can buy in India

If you are planning to buy a new printer, simply go for an ink tank printer. The Epson L485 is a good option though you can get cheaper Epson Ink Tank Printer models – if you have limited budget. This is a all in one (AIO) ink Tank Printer. These ink tank printers have a ink tank that is usually placed outside the printer, it makes it easier to check ink levels and also re-fill when needed. The Epson L486 can scan, copy and print. The copy feature is especially useful at home / office use.

Ink Tank printers are much better

Have you used the Deskjet / Inkjet printers, these are low cost printers but the cartridge cost a lot and you end up spending more in the long run. But there are two major issues with DeskJet/Inkjet printers and that is the cartridge ink getting dried up. Epson L485 performance

The print quality is pretty impressive, you can also use it for photo print – for best results use glossy photo print paper. Do check the video review to get an idea about the print quality and features.
You can use built in WiFi / WiFi Direct, you can print from devices connected to WiFi and you can also connect this printer to your computer using USB port. If you have content on SD card you can directly use the card slot and browse through the files on the Epson LCD screen and also initiate print via the same interface without having to connect to a PC.

If you print in Black (default mode) it will cost 7 paisa per page and color prints (default mode) will cost 18 paisa per page.

Verdict

I am already using the Epson L210 ink tank printer, had already done the review of the same a long time back, yes it is the same printer and am still using it. Best thing I like is that the ink does not dry up even when I am not using the printer for weeks. Also one bottle lasts for a very very long time, approx 4500 pages (black print).

If you are looking for a printer then you can go for the Epson L485 or any Epson Ink Tank printer. These printers do come for a cost but that is a one time investment and they really last long, and best part is the printer is always ready when you need a print.
