Failure at 150' Below Ground- Well Pulling Rig Built of Repurposed Materials

To find out what the problem is with my neighbors well, we set up the home made well pulling rig remove the well piping. Its a bit slow and tedious to do this by hand, but the result is little or no expenditure. The situation is terrible because of the heavy rains on and off so it's wet and muddy around the well house, but besides the aggravation, it provides no obstruction to finding the problem.
The roof of the little well house has to be removed to access the piping then the rig has to be positioned with the sheave directly over the casing and leveled. The casing cover that by compression of a rubber grommet holds the schedule 80 pipe in place is removed once the cable of the well rig is connected. Then we pull the pipe 20' at a time until either the problem is found or the pump clears the top of the casing.
