NEAL BOWENS PROJECT
Tenor saxophonist Neal Bowens plays a funky mix of contemporary jazz and old-school favorites, with a personal nod to the legendary Grover Washington. Bowens is anticipating the release of a new CD. The NB Project showcases some of Richmond’s finest with Dr. Al Campbell on piano; Wilbert Anderson on bass; Ray Grady on drums; Lamont Menefield and Rahib Amin on guitars; Rolando Jordan on trumpet; and special guest vocalist Robert Phanord.
