North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Chinese President Xi Jinping held a summit on June 8 in Pyongyang . Chinese President Xi was seen being welcomed by Kim Jong Un upon arriving in North Korea, Reuters said citing KRT. During the meeting, both the leaders agreed to expand cooperation between the two countries in politics, economy and culture. Reuters citing North Korea's state-run television KRT said, Kim told Xi he would fully support the "One China principle" . According to this principle, Beijing views that both sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to one country regardless of international situation. Meanwhile, Xi told Kim that he would use his trip as an opportunity to make significant progress in bilateral relations
