Virtual Museum After Hours - The Wizard Behind Oz
Lions and tigers and bears! Oh My! People worldwide are familiar with the story of the Wizard of Oz. Most also know that Dorothy hailed from Kansas, depicted in this American fairy tale as dull, drab, and riddled with tornadoes. In her talk Chris Glasgow focuses on the interesting story behind L. Frank Baum’s classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and how its legacy affects our culture today.
