Organising Data | Menus: GMS2 [P1]
Today we kick off a new mini-series on designing a menu in GameMaker Studio 2. This tutorial focuses on how to go about organizing data.
Some systems require managing huge amounts of data such as quest, NPC, and dialogue systems - and as a result, trying to imagine how to even structure this data can seem overwhelming at first. We can take menus as an example and illustrate some ways to go about structuring data more generally.
