Possession | Outside receiver with a balanced skillset. Can run any route on the field and has few weaknesses but due to any combination of lack of size, quickness, and/or physicality is not best utilized in the slot. Emphasizes all traits. Routes 0-9
Vertical | Traditional deep threat specialist on the outside, receiver who specializes in routes 4-9. Emphasizes Speed, Release, Long Routes, Catch in Traffic and Height

Playmaker | Often not a refined route runner or equipped with the best hands, these receivers are exceptional after the catch but often need plays designed to get them the ball or to be schemed open. Emphasizes Speed, Acceleration, Agility, and RAC. Routes 0,1,2,9, and Crossers
Slot | Receivers capable of being quickly available for the Quarterback by either separating quickly or being a size/speed mismatch problem for linebackers and defensive backs who can win contested catches.
