Rubio in India LIVE: Marco Rubio Meets PM Modi, Extends Trump's Invitation to White House

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is on a four-day visit to India. Rubio called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to the White House on behalf of Donald Trump. Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval also attended the meeting. Rubio is scheduled to meet Jaishankar separately on May 24. Discussions are expected to focus on trade, technology, defence cooperation and regional security, while Rubio will also attend the QUAD foreign ministers’ meeting on May 26.
