Making A Simple Walnut Step Stool

We were having trouble reaching the top shelf of our new pantry, so I designed and built this custom step stool. It's designed to fit on one of the lower shelves of the pantry, so it's easy to store when it's not needed. I built it using solid walnut, in order to match the custom countertop in the pantry.

This is a simple woodworking project that anyone could do using basic woodworking tools. Although I built this one using solid walnut, almost any type of wood would work.
