Utah drops thousands of fish from planes to restock lake
A plane has dropped thousands of fish into Utah’s Boulder Mountain region in an effort to restore the population.
The dropping of thousands of fish is part of an annual effort to restock almost 200 high-elevation Utah lakes, which are popular fishing spots but aren’t easily accessible by other vehicles.
The plane can drop 35,000 fish in one flight, which the creatures are comfortably able to survive.
