A Plexi in Crododile's clothing: playthrough of the 1964 Selmer Treble n Bass 50 ToneX capture set

This amp has a very unique character that seems almost like a mix between a Plexi and some of the big BF Fenders in regard to it's stour attack that has a different feel than Marshall.

The crunch and dimed gain range is indeed leaning towards some plexi style tones. But it has a different upper midrange and a bottom end that is similar to the Zodiac Twin 30 - very big, puncy and stout.

It is capable of some angry, musical and unique rock tones and cuts through like a knife. Similar to the Zodiac, it takes pedals as good as very few other amps do.

Josh Smith features this model on his YT channel and talks about it as one of his favorite amps in the plexi-like realm.
