How did Moses shift from relying on his own strength to walking in God’s guidance, amid the great fall from the Egyptian palace to the wilderness?

🎞️ Historical Background
Raised in Egypt’s royal palace, Moses received noble education and possessed great glory and resources. Yet in a moment of anger, he killed an Egyptian and was forced to flee into the wilderness. He spent forty years herding sheep, changing from a proud prince to a humble, unknown shepherd. Meanwhile, the Israelites suffered harsh slavery and oppression in Egypt, trapped with no way of escape.

🙏 Moses’ Choice
Moses did not settle for a quiet life in the wilderness, nor continue walking by his own impulse. Encountering God in the burning bush, he laid down his ability and pride, and obeyed God’s calling. He led the Israelites out of Egypt, enduring Pharaoh’s resistance and the people’s complaints, and faithfully followed God’s guidance toward the Promised Land.

A true leader does not depend on talent or status, but is shaped by God’s presence and humility. God often breaks us in the wilderness first, before entrusting us with His mission and people.
