I was sent to the InterContinental Tahiti Resort and Spa for work all inclusive, overwater bungalows, infinity pools, the Pacific Ocean right outside my door. But the most extraordinary thing I found at this luxury Tahiti resort wasn’t any of that. It was something most guests walk straight past without ever realizing what it actually is.

In this video I take you inside the InterContinental Tahiti for an honest review — the pools, a $90 snorkeling excursion off the reef, and the hidden lagoonarium called Fare l’a Reserve which is a man-made ocean lagoon connected directly to the Pacific with over 200 species of marine life, managed by a team of marine scientists, and completely free for hotel guests.

The Fare l’a Reserve is a man-made lagoon with two openings directly into the Pacific Ocean. Over 200 marine species. Free snorkeling for all hotel guests. Masks and snorkels provided. Part of a sea turtle conservation program run by Te Mana O Te Moana.
