Our Growth Marketing Director Tatyana Tarassenko spoke with Helmuts Meskonis who came up with the idea for the summit and organizes it. It’s clear that the event is THE perfect place for all who understand just how powerful a great domain name is to any business! Helmuts himself created his first website back in 1999 and learnt the value of domain names from the beginning. He sold two web companies a couple of years ago and went into the world of web hosting, domain name registration and so much more. The key driver to create the event in London was the fact that there were previously no events in Europe for the domain name industry at all. And now the event is the biggest in Europe! With 200+ people present for great networking opportunities, a dozen companies exhibiting and well over a million domain names for sale it’s a great event to come to. As with any larger in-person event, it’s not easy to set up but the results are well worth it and it’s great to see how much the domain name market is developing globally. An increasing number of companies are switching on to the power of a great domain name and we see the size of the event in London increasing each year!
