Choreography of Life | Virginie Reymond | TEDxCarouge

Chorophobia is the intense fear of dancing. Virginie Reymond explores the roots of this surprising yet widespread phenomenon, to be found in the historical perception of our bodies, and the evolution of our relation to them over time. What if dancing could help us reconnect our minds with our bodies, and in itself be a shortcut to happiness? After studying international hospitality management, Virginie joined the Seedstars family to help support and foster local entrepreneurial ecosystems in emerging markets via their coworking space network, Seedspace.

Virginie is convinced that her two passions, arts and entrepreneurship, have much in common and even more to learn from one another. Since 2016 she is exploring with Flux Laboratory, an experimental art space dedicated to contemporary dance in particular, possible interactions between those fields and the power of transdisciplinarity, collaboration and co-creation.
