How to Make The Popeyes Chicken Sandwich At Home, But Air Fried

Popeyes Chicken Sandwich at Home. Copycat Recipes in the Air Fryer. This is an Air Fryer video for the popular, Popeyes Chicken Sandwich. YES! You can make a better, tastier and healthier version of your favorite Chicken Sandwich!

Ingredients:

1 Large Chicken Breast Split in Half

For the Marinade

1 cup of Buttermilk
2 Eggs
1/4 cup Hot Sauce
1 tbsp of Salt

For the Batter

1 cup Flour
1/4 cup Cornstarch
1/2 tbsp Salt
1/2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning (I used Slap Ya Mama ➡️➡️➡️ https://amzn.to/3hZsQwR)
1/2 tbsp Black Pepper
1/2 tbsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 tbsp Cayenne or other powdered chilly

2 Brioche Buns
2 TBS of Oil
2 TBS of good quality Mayonnaise
Sliced Pickles

Directions
Mix the ingredients for the marine. Place the breast in a plastic bag, and marinade it for 2-24h.
Mix the ingredients for the coating/batter. Take the marinated breast out the plastic bag and place it directly into the batter. Spray and brush oil all over the chicken pieces to guarantee uniform cooking.
Cook for 8-9 minutes at 365F. Increase the temperature to 400F and cook for another 4 Minutes for extra crispiness
