Why won't you tell me the price? House cleaners beg every day for a magic number of what to charge for cleaning a room. And they are hoping I can pull that number out of a hat. And the reason is that customers are calling them on the phone asking for an over-the-phone / sight-unseen price quote. Truth is, it's impossible to give a price for cleaning without knowing the variables that have to be factored into the job. Sure, I can give you a quote off the top of my head, but unless we are both talking about the same job, and what is involved in cleaning it, the supplies used, the time spent, and covering your priorities as a customer, I promise you, we're not talking about the same price.
