Moroccan snails and snail soup were no doubt an unexpected treat when I traveled to Morocco. Snails are a favorite street food throughout Morocco that can be found amongst a dozen stands in Jemaa el Fna Square, independent street vendors, and a few restaurants throughout the country. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Morocco try these unique delicacies at least once.
