Building exit clauses into your founder/partnership agreement is essential to painless and cost-efficient closures of business. But, many business owners neglect this fundamental aspect either out of naivety, fear of conflict or because they simply don't have a partnership agreement. Believe me when I tell you that it's a topic you cannot afford to overlook.

You may not know how your business will end, but you can control for how you and your partner decide to part ways when the time comes and what will happen to the business as a result.
